Luxury Cruise Ship Fails Health Inspection

Silver Shadow, part of Silversea Cruises' fleet, failed a recent surprise health inspection conducted by the US Department for Disease Control and Prevention.

Silver Shadow has rooms starting at 1000 a night, so it is expected to be a pinnacle of luxury.

The CDC grades on a scale of up to 100 points and anything lower than an 86 is considered failing.

"In a statement to USA Today, 'Silversea is deeply disappointed by this specific and only unsatisfactory score and has taken immediate measures to address the issues identified in the inspection report,'"

No word yet on what the failing qualities were.
